Mergent Online: For industry reports click on the Industry analysis tab. Within the industry analysis section of the database, choose the Reports tab, then the Supersector sub-tab. Scroll to find the Insurance report and click download. For companies, use the basic or advanced search. Enter the name of a company or search by SIC, NAICS or MIC code (use the code lookup tool to find the insurance industry code).
MarketLine Advantage: Search for industry reports by keyword (e.g. insurance, non-life insurance). Use the filters on the search results page to limit results to a certain region/country.
IBIS World: Search for industry reports by keywords (e.g. insurance, life insurance, non-life insurance) or search by NAICS code (e.g. 524). On the search results page you can limit by country (Canada, US, China, or Global) and report type.
Statista: Search for statistics and reports by keyword (e.g. insurance, insurtech, etc.). Use the location focus drop-down to prioritize results from a specific country. For just reports, use the Reports drop-down in the top navigation menu to choose Industry Reports. Then search by keyword, and use the filters on the left to limit by geography, language, content type, etc.
First Research: Search for industry reports by keyword (e.g. insurance, life insurance, health insurance, etc.) or by NAICS code (e.g. 5241)
Mintel Reports: Search for reports by keyword (e.g. insurance) and use the filters at the top of the search results page to limit by category, region, trend drivers, or demographics.
Pitchbook (instructions to create an account here): Search Insurance in the top search bar. On the results page select the Industries & Verticals tab.
