How do I screen for bonds using Fitch, Moody's, and S&P ratings?
Search Bloomberg (available in the Business Library). Press the yellow CORP key, then type SRCH and press GO.
Use Capital IQ - To see the current credit rating, search by company's name or ticker symbol. Click on the PDF Quick Report icon from the Public Company Profile page. The S&P Issuer Credit Rating will be in the upper-right corner. To see debt ratings, click on Credit Ratings under "Fixed Income" on the left, if applicable. S&P ratings only.
For brief credit reports, search Factivaand input this into the search field: rst=moodpr AND [your search terms]
