How do I find international financial statistics?

Go to the IMF E-Library, International Financial Statistics. The data are also available in paper form in the International Financial Statistics Yearbook.

Also try the following databases:
EMIS Intelligence (Select Client login)
Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) (search a country and then select the "Finance" tab, or select Country Finance from the My Reports and Services dropdown)

Use the World Development Indicators database for information from the World Bank for 220 countries and country groups back to 1960.

Use the Europa World Plus database. See the reports for individual countries or the Comparative Statistics area.

Use the Asia Studies database. See the Asia-wide Statistics area.

Use Datastream in the Business Library. Search in the Economic reports/charts area for a country, and select from the menu for Report on a single series or Chart of a single series.
