How do I find data on U.S. businesses, like size, geography, minorities, etc?

Use Mergent Intellect. Use the Advanced Search feature. Search for companies based on a wide variety of criteria including location, size, minority owned, women owned, and more.

In Nexis Uni. Under Menu choose Company Dossier. Search for a single company, or click Create a Company List to generate a list of companies based on criteria such as sales/revenue, number of employees, and geographic region.

Use Mergent Market Atlas. In the "Search by Company Characteristics" section set the criteria for the variables you desire. Choose a company, in the green ANALYSIS section look at the geographic segments' section. Click the EXECUTIVES section to find reports on officers. Search FILINGS for geographic location of customers and other information of interest.

Use Statista. Use keywords to search for minority and women related business data .
