How do I find info on the sports industry?

EMIS: Click Client Log In at the top right corner of the screen to enter the full database. To find industry reports, use the search box at the top of the screen to enter sports-related keywords. Then use the Reports drop-down to filter results to either Country/Regional Market Research or Global Market Research. 

IBIS World: Search for sport-related industry reports by keyword or NAICS code.

Mintel Reports: Select Category/Travel, Leisure & Entertainment/Sports. Further refine results by selecting an option from the region, trend drivers, and demographics filters.

MarketLine Advantage: Search for sport-related industry reports by keyword (e.g. sports equipment).

Pitchbook (instructions to create an account here): Search Recreational Goods in the top search bar.

First Research: Search for sport-related industry reports by keyword or NAICS code.

BCC Research: Search for industry reports by keyword. 

Statista: Search statistics by keyword or hover over the Reports menu and select Industry Reports. Search for a sport-related industry by keyword. Use the "Regions/Countries" drop-down to filter results as needed.

Leisure Tourism: Select the Sport tab in the top navigation menu, then search for academic research on sports tourism using keywords or phrases.

Search for publications/websites that focus on the business of a particular sport. They may offer industry insights such as news, trends, and data.

There are also many organizations that promote the development of different sports within countries/regions, which may offer industry and consumer research. For a directory of sports organizations in Canada see the Government of Canada's National Sport Organizations page.
