How do I find economic forecasts?
Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) - Click on Data Tool and select Viewswire to build a table of past and projected indicators. The EIU World Commodity Forecasts service also offers forecasts.
For Canadian national, provincial and metropolitan area forecasts look in the Conference Board of Canada eLibrary. Search for the terms outlook or trends.
See the BMI "Business Forecast Reports" available in ProQuest.
For US forecasts try the Federal Reserve Bank. Search using the term "projections".
Try the IMF World Economic Outlook.
Use Datastream in the Business Library. Search in the Economics area and limit by country and by forecasts. Present day and historical forecasts are available for many variables for many countries.
Also see the websites of Canadian banks; all publish economic forecast newsletters.
The World Bank has both figures and commentary. Look for the report Global Economic Prospects.
