Companies

Search MarketLine. Click Companies in the top navigation menu. Search or browse for a company. 

For companies in emerging markets, try EMIS. Click Client Log In in the top right corner to access the full database. Select the Companies tab.

Search Mergent Online. Search for a company of you country of interest.

Search Mergent Intellect.

• When using the basic search, uncheck the "Results will only include U.S. Companies" to search for international companies

Use Factiva. Click on Companies/Markets in the top navigation menu.

Try Nexis Uni. Use the guided search. Select Company Info, type in a company name, select Company Profile from the drop-down, and search 

• Or click the Menu drop-down and choose Company Dossier.

For private and public company information see Pitchbook. Search for a company using the search box at the top of the screen. 

For private company information (primarily U.S. but some Canadian) see PrivCo.

Try S&P Capital IQ (available in the Business Library). Click Companies > Search Profiles.

Bloomberg (available in the Business Library): Search for a company.

Industries

MarketLine Advantage: Search an industry by keyword. Use the Geography filter to limit results. 

Fitch Connect: Type the name of your country of interest into the search bar at the top of the page. Select the country under the “Entities” heading to see a detailed country profile including country and industry risk reports.  

Statista: In the top menu click Reports and select Industry Reports. Search for an industry by keyword and set the "Regions/Countries" drop-down to your country of choice. 

Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU): Use the Countries search box on the home screen to look up a country and view the country profile. See the Industry tab.
