How do I find the names of companies in the telecommunications industry?
Go to Mergent Online. Using Basic Search, use the classification option. Click on the one of the criteria (SIC, NAICS or MIC) then click on "use code lookup" to find the code. Enter the code into the search box, and then click the Search button.
Use the Bloomberg terminal in the Business Library. In the Equity area do a Custom Search ( QSRC ), and set the Industry Group to Telecommunications or a sub-industry choice.
