How do I find information on takeovers of Canadian Companies?
Pitchbook: Click Companies & Deals in the menu to the left. Click Deal Types to choose a M&A option. Click Location to select Canada. Choose other criteria as needed and search.
Bloomberg (available in the Business Library): Enter MA and do a custom search. Set the Deal Type and Country options.
Capital IQ (available in the Business Library): Click on the Screening tab and choose Companies. In the criteria menu see options under the "M&A Details" heading, and choose Country/Region of Incorporation under the "Company Details" heading to limit to Canadian companies.
