How do I find Canadian economic statistics and economic indicators?

Statistics Canada:

Statista:

  • Search for statistics by keyword, and limit results to Canada using the "Geography" filter on the search results page.
  • Or select the Reports drop-down and choose Country Reports. Search for Canada to find the latest Canada Statista Dossier. It will include an "Economy" section.

Fitch Connect:

  • Use the search box to type in "Canada." Select the Canada - Sovereign/Regions option. See the "Current Key Financials" data table.
  • Or for more data, select Data Tools in the top navigation menu. Choose the Interactive Charts option. Choose Canada using the select entities/geographies option. For the data item select an indicator from Macro-Economic (Or another option of your choice). Next, select a date range, and finally a visualization option.

Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU): Use the "Country" search box to find Canada. In the country profile, see the Economy tab.

MarketLine Advantage: Search "Canada." On the search results page scroll down to the "Country Profiles" section and choose the latest Country Analysis Report for Canada. Try the Economic Analysis section of the report.

IMF Data - Access to Macroeconomic & Financial Data. Use the "Select Country" drop-down to access data for Canada. 

OECD Stat: Select an indicator from the table (e.g. Economic Projections, National Accounts, Monthly Economic Indicators) and find Canada in the table.
