How do I find prescription and over-the-counter drug information?

Use the "International Drug Price Indicator Guide" on the Management Sciences for Health website.

See the World Health Organization Medicine Price Information

You can search the Ontario Drug Benefit Program to get prices that the government will pay to pharmacies for drugs that are covered. Just click on Search e-Formulary. For other provinces, go to Health Canada.

Visit the Patented Medicine Prices Review Board (PMPRB) to get a list of drugs and their prices under "Regulating Prices" then "Price Review".

For U.S. based drugs, the book Mosby's Drug Reference has a section entitled "cost of therapy" and a Product Listing section which both list prices.

Use the Compendium of Pharmaceuticals and Specialties.
