To view indices related to high-yield debt in the Bloomberg Index Browser, enter IN HY <GO> in the command line.
To view distressed bonds, enter DIS <GO> in the command line.
For news on high yield bonds, use the command line to enter N High Yield <GO>.
For Bond Ratings Definitions, use the command RATD <GO>.
Capital IQ (available in the Business Library): Click Screening in the top navigation menu, then select Fixed Income. Scroll down and add Fixed Income > Valuation > Offering Yield // Yield to Worst. You can export the results into Excel by clicking the "Go" button, and manually calculating the average.
