How do I find earnings conference calls and transcripts?

Companies supplement their quarterly earnings announcements with a conference call that offers comments on the quarterly results and on future projected earnings. The audio or transcripts are usually available on the company web site as well as on Yahoo Finance and Seeking Alpha.

In Capital IQ look in the left margin for News, Events and Filings.

Search for the company name in Fair Disclosure Wire via ProQuest. Information is from July 2004 forward.

In Mergent Investext, in the drop down select 'Contributor' and then 'Click here to view the Contributor list' and then find Thomson Reuters StreetEvents. Then, use the drop down and select Company and input your company name.

Go to Factiva and search the Fair Disclosure Wire. The search syntax is rst=fndw and companyname
Archived back to 2002.

In Bloomberg use the function EVT (company events) to find Earnings Calls and Releases.
