How do I find earnings conference calls and transcripts?

Companies supplement their quarterly earnings announcements with a conference call that offers comments on the quarterly results and on future projected earnings. The audio or transcripts can often be found on the company's investor relations website. To find these sites, try searching [company name] investor relations using a search engine like Google.

Pitchbook: Search for a public company. In the company profile select Transcripts from the menu at the top.

Fair Disclosure Wire via ProQuest: Sort by most recent first for the latest information. Coverage is from July 2004 forward.

Mergent Investext: Select the Contributor criteria in the basic search screen, then click Use CONTRIBUTOR Lookup. Find Thomson Reuters StreetEvents and click "Submit". Then select the Company criteria, input a company name, and click "Submit". Next, hit "View" to see the results list.

Capital IQ (available in the Business Library): Search for a company. In the company profile, click Transcripts under the "News, Events & Filings" heading in the menu to the left. You can keyword search through the transcripts using the search box above the table.

Bloomberg (available in the Business Library): use the function EVT (company events) to find Earnings Calls and Releases.
