MarketLine Advantage: In the top navigation menu click Sectors > Construction & Real Estate. Use the limiters on the side to filter for specific geographic regions, content type, and dates as needed.

IBIS World: Search for real estate or try NAICS code 531 for industry reports, which include data and analysis.

First Research: Enter your email to access the database. Search for real estate or NAICS code 531.

Mergent Online:

• Click the Industry analysis tab. 
  • For industry data see the Characteristics tab. Click the second drop-down and select Real Estate.
  • For data on major companies within a particular industry click the Membership tab. In the first drop-down click Industry, Supersector, Sector, or Subsector and choose a real estate category in the second drop-down.
  • For reports click the Reports tab. Then click the Industry, Supersector, or Mergent Reports sub-tab. Check the box next to a Real Estate option and click the download button.

Factiva:

• For statistics, news, and analysis. Hover over Companies/Markets in the top navigation menu and select Industry. Browse for Real Estate, Real Estate Investment Trusts, Real Estate Services/Transactions, or Real Estate/Construction.
• Search for information related to real estate using keywords. Click Search in the top navigation menu. In the "Free Text Search" box enter the industry code in=icre AND [keywords]. (e.g. in=icre AND trends).

Fitch Connect:

• Choose Country risk & Industry Research from the top navigation menu. Then click the Industries sub-tab. Choose Real Estate. Use the “Select a Country or Territory” menu on the bottom right side of the industry profile page for industry-specific country dashboards.
• For industry data, select Data Tools in the top navigation menu. Choose the Interactive Charts option. Choose a country using the select entities/geographies menu. For the data item select an indicator from Industries > Real Estate. Next, select a date range and finally a visualization option. 

Statista:

• Keyword search for statistics on real estate.
• You can also use the reports tab to find reports and statistical dossiers. Click Reports in the top navigation menu and select Industry Reports. Search for real estate or other relevant keywords. Refine by geography as needed.

Pitchbook (instructions to create an account here): Search real estate in the search bar at the top. Then select the Industries & Verticals tab. Double-click an industry to view an overview of companies in that industry. 

Statistics Canada Housing Statistics: Includes data tables on a variety of related topics such as housing price indexes and residential construction and investment.

Canadian Industry Statistics: Provides industry trends and financial information, such as GDP, labour productivity, manufacturing and trade data. Search for real estate industries by keyword, NAICS code, or browse for them by clicking Real Estate and Rental and Leasing.

Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) Housing Market Stats: Includes MLS home price index tool, monthly stats, quarterly forecasts, and the national price map tool.

Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation: The housing markets, data and research page provides for up-to-date and historical information on housing and rental markets.
