Frequently Asked Questions

Grant data is pulled directly from ROLA, so only awards that exist in PeopleSoft will appear in RIMS. Here's what to expect:

• Awarded grants only—contracts and donations aren't included. 
• Active in the last seven years—if a grant ended more than seven years ago, it won't be imported. 
• Already underway—grants are imported once they've started, so awards set up in advance won't appear until their start date. 
• Based on your ROLA role—if you're listed on a grant in ROLA, whether as principal investigator or in another role, you'll be linked to it in RIMS. 

Grants records are updated monthly, so new awards may take a little time to appear on your profile after they're created in PeopleSoft.
