Most Western University scholars will need to take only one additional step of uploading their published article or author accepted manuscript to Scholarship@Western or a trusted disciplinary repository. Authors/researchers can also email us their manuscript and the team will take care of making it openly available through the repository.
The Research and Scholarly Communications Team at Western Libraries is available to help Western scholars know their rights as authors and to understand the OA policies and procedures of their publisher. They’re also available to provide consultations or workshops to scholars on Author’s Rights.
