Will Western Libraries pay my Article Processing Charge (APC)?
No, Western Libraries no longer provides an OA Fund to pay for APCs. Instead, we financially support several memberships that reduce APC costs for Western scholars and support OA infrastructure. APCs may also be an eligible research expense covered by grant funding. We also encourage researchers who do not have grant funding to ask the publisher for a waiver of the APC.
