How does Western's OA policy address traditional knowledge and Indigenous ways of knowing?

Western's OA policy recognizes that not all research outputs are appropriate to be shared openly because of cultural, ethical, or privacy concerns, including traditional knowledge and Indigenous ways of knowing. Members of the University community who publish works that cannot or should not be made available openly may opt out of Western's OA policy using the online form on the Western Libraries website (to come).
