How do I find information about joint ventures?

Search SDC Platinum, available in the Business Library. Choose Mergers & Acquisitions and select Joint Ventures. For help with SDC see the video "Searching for Joint Venture Information Using SDC Platinum".


Bloomberg (In Business Library) The code is MA. Choose the Deal Breakdown tab. Look for Deal Type Summary and select Joint Ventures. You can filter by geography and industry.


Using Capital IQ (in library use only) follow these steps: 

Hover over Screening and Transactions.
Under M&A Details, click on Features and select Creation of Joint Venture 
Add criteria and select others as desired.
Click on View Results.


Go to EIU and click on “Country Commerce” under the My Reports and Services header (right margin). Choose a Country of Interest and then choose a report. In the table of contents choose “The Operating Environment” or “Organizing an Investment”.


In the Mergent Online database choose the “Advanced” tab and perform a Textual Search(Blue tab). Choose “Joint Ventures” and Contains a search term of interest.Submit. Add more terms as desired.
